Preliminary Results of eGovernment Survey
Lack of strategic direction in eGovernment sites
— Posted December 6th, 2002 | by Colm McBarron
Most Irish public sector professionals see a "lack of strategic direction" as the main obstacle in implementing their organisation's eGovernment strategy.
Preliminary data from iQ Content's forthcoming eGovernment survey also shows that 77 per cent of respondents identified content authoring as the main problem associated with the ongoing management of their websites.
Worryingly, 33 per cent had no clear understanding of what eGovernment meant for their organisation.
The full version of the iQ Content eGovernment Implementation Survey will be published in January. To request a free copy of the survey, email surveys@iqcontent.com or call iQ Content on 01 817 0768
