Blog Launched

We’ve launched a blog. These days, that might seem as newsworthy as saying ‘We’ve had lunch’ – the ever-growing blogosphere is already overflowing with thoughts, opinions, and streams of (un)consciousness.

But we think you’ll actually find ours useful. We get paid to have informed opinions (which is handy because we have a lot of them) and the idea of the iQ Blog is to give you access to what’s on our minds in an accessible and entertaining fashion.

What’s it about?

We’ll mainly be talking about websites, of course – what makes them good, how you actually go about designing a good user experience, which websites out there are setting the standard, and which ones need a kick in the rear.

But we’ll also talk about the broader world of technology, and since we started blogging quietly a few weeks ago, there’s already some good stuff up there (chosen by David, who as he’s not blogging himself on the iQ Blog, can be something of a neutral observer)

The story so far

How is this different from our newsletter?

We’ll continue to send our newsletter out about once a month via email. We won’t include most of our blog entries in our newsletter, though we might highlight some of the ones we think were the best for that month.

The newsletter will also include a more substantial article (to be be found in the publications area of the site) The blog will keep you on top of everything (particularly if you subscribe to the RSS feed), but if you just want the occasional email, then we’d recommend you continue to subscribe to the newsletter instead. Of course info-junkies will do both, for the belt and braces approach.
