An internal business blogging seminar

Heavily inspired by Damien Mulley’s talk on Web 2.0 marketing at last week’s Enterprise Ireland HPSU seminar, I’ve created an internal presentation which I’m giving at iQ Towers on Friday (today) on business blogging as it applies to iQ Content.
We’ve grown quite quickly in the last year so it’s an introduction not just to blogging, but also to the brand we want to nurture and grow.
What resonated with me most from Damien’s talk on blogging was his ideas on why a company should “expose” how they work and show how they deal with their customers.
The traditional or conservative view is one of fear - along the lines of fuel for the competition or giving away intellectual property. I’m not sure if that view is valid in this space.
In fact, there’s more to gain from sharing - it gives an air of confidence and the opportunity to be viewed as an authority or thought leaders on a specific subject.
With that in mind, below is my “internal” presentation (nothing new or revolutionary and nothing you won’t find elsewhere).
