Watch the tutorial
Our GA maestro, Niamh, has put together a 10-minute tutorial on how to set up Google Analytics on your website (after the jump, scroll down for the video).
If you haven’t gotten around to setting up GA on your site yet, you should. It’s a free tool that gives you visibility on how people are using your site.
You can also check out our analytics workshops at next week’s Boot Camp:
Web Analytics 101 on Tuesday, June 9 - We’ll take you through the process of setting up Google Analytics so you can collect accurate, useful data from your site. You’ll get a solid grounding in analytics terminology, learn how to understand key reports, and apply what you learn to your own site as you go.
Web Analytics 202 on Thursday, June 11 - This course will improve your analysis skills so you can identify the areas of your website that need improvement, and measure the impact of your changes so you can calculate the return on any investment you make in your site.
What you’ll need
Google Analytics will be the tool of choice at Boot Camp; but the theory behind the tools is the same in most cases, so if you’re using another tool, we can still give you practical advice you can use.
