What’s an RSS feed?

An RSS feed is how you can subscribe to our blog.

If you don’t have an RSS reader, you should. Really. It will change the way you’ll use the internet, because it means you won’t miss anything.

You really just have one decision to make: which reader to use? It comes down to this: if you usually use the same computer when you access the internet (at work and at home), then you should get a desktop reader. If you use different machines, then use a web-based reader (your best bet is probably Bloglines).

If you’re ready to take the plunge, read our article describing in more detail how RSS works and how to use it.

How is this different than our newsletter?

We send our newsletter out about once a month via email. We won’t include most of our blog entries in our newsletter, though we might highlight some of the ones we think were the best for that month. The newsletter will also include a more substantial article. If you subscribe to our blog, you won’t miss anything. But if you just want the occasional email, and can’t be bothered with RSS readers, then subscribe to our newsletter instead.
