iQ Boot Camp 2008: 22nd - 24th April, Dublin
Design for Humans. Results for Business.
Real people use your website. Treat them well, and they’ll love you for it. Disappoint them, and they’re gone. Usability and customer focus are paramount to online success. Think Google. Think Amazon.
And there’s no trade-off. Design your website for people, and you’ll deliver better results for your business.
Attend the iQ Boot Camp this Spring, learn how to delight your online customers, and gain the skills and insights you need to measurably improve your website and deliver better online results.

What matters most to you?
This year, to help you focus on what matters most to you, we’ve grouped the Boot Camp programme around four major themes:
- Web strategy and organisation: Define and deliver an effective (and measurable) online strategy for your organisation.
- User experience & design: Design great online experiences for everyone – creating websites and web applications that delight your customers and your boss.
- Content: Get your content and content processes sorted, and use content to drive traffic, increase conversions, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Promoting your website: Create and implement an effective online marketing strategy to drive more traffic to your site, and increase visitor engagement.
To deepen your knowledge in one area, you can choose to specialise in one stream. Or, if you prefer, you can mix and match across streams. It’s all essential stuff, and whatever you do, you’ll learn and your website and organisation will prosper.
Added extras?
As ever, there's also a number of added extras to make this year’s Boot Camp just a little bit special, including:
- iQ Clinics: Free for all three-day attendees: one-on-one sessions to answer any specific questions you may have about your own website.
- iQ FutureNow: A half-day seminar that brings you up-to-speed on emerging trends and technologies that will impact on your website in the short and medium term.
- Après Boot: A mid-conference party with a difference. Relax, unwind, share experiences and ideas, while enjoying the view over Dublin from the Radisson’s lofty Sky Bar.
Why attend?
Four reasons not to miss this year's iQ Boot Camp:
- Learn stuff you need to know: Get up to speed on latest best practice techniques and trends. Learn from what the best are doing. Get the skills you need to improve your website, increase visitor numbers and satisfaction, cut costs, increase revenues, and deliver measurably better results online.
- Be better: A focus on practical skills and implementation. Practical, actionable insights and skills, not hot air. After completing the Boot Camp programme, you'll have better skills, better ideas, and practical tools and techniques that you can implement straight-away. Better for everyone: become better at your job, make your website better, and serve your customers and your organisation better.
- Interact, engage, enjoy: Get out of the office and engage with a community of colleagues and peers who share the same challenges as you. A relaxed atmosphere, intimate setting, and ample chat and social opportunities will give you a chance to unwind, clarify your thinking, see the big picture, learn from your peers and have fun.
- More knowledge, more topics, more value: This year’s Boot Camp packs in more knowledge and more topics than ever before. 18 workshops over three days; plus a half-day seminar; plus one-on-one web clinics; plus a great mid-conference drinks reception; plus brilliant takeaway resources. All this equates to great value: your conference fee will probably be the best money you’ll spend on your website this year.
Who should attend?
Anyone, in any type of organisation, who's interested in delivering better online results, or who has an input into defining or implementing an organisation's web strategy, will benefit hugely from the iQ Boot Camp.
Our focus is non-technical and on business outcomes, so whether you're a CEO or Senior Manager with a vision for a world class website, a marketing manager responsible for managing your organisation's online marketing strategy, a web editor interested in improving web content, a developer looking to create user-friendly online experiences, or a webmaster trying to do it all – this is the event for you.
