Morgan McKeagney

Morgan is a recognised expert in web strategy, content management, e-Government and user experience, subjects on which he has written and presented extensively. He's also a Director of the Irish Internet Association – Ireland's leading representative body for the internet industry.

Morgan co-founded iQ Content in July 2001. He has led many high-profile projects for clients such Vodafone, Deloitte and Global Voice. He has also been instrumental in defining the company's business strategy, expansion and day-to-day operations.

Elizabeth McGuane

Elizabeth is iQ Content’s in-house journalist and content expert. Before joining us, Elizabeth worked for many years at the Sunday Business Post where she covered both business stories and the arts. She still continues to regularly for the Post and several other national newspapers. With us she has developed web writing training for our largest corporate clients including Hibernian and more.

Des Traynor

Des is a well-known and passionate advocate of useful, usable and effective web applications. He is also an accomplished researcher and has a strong interest in applying scientific rigour to usability analysis. Since joining iQ Des has led successful projects analysing and re-designing web applications for several high profile companies including Dublin City Council, ESB, Boylesports and Eircom.

Prior to joining iQ Content, Des worked as a Lecturer in Computer Science at NUI Maynooth. He also co-created his own start-up company Bigulo.com, a search application for social networks. He is currently completing his PhD in IT.

John Wood

John is a recognised expert in user centred design methods such as personas. John’s experience in user testing and evaluation methodologies has helped our clients build sturdy and successful online presences. For example, among the techniques he has used include card sorting, affinity diagrams and the development of controlled vocabularies.

Before joining iQ Content, John worked at the National Council for the Blind of Ireland, conducting research on haptic user interfaces and assistive technologies.

Colman Walsh

Colman is a long-established specialist user-centred design and usability. His focus on user needs analysis has been proven over many successful projects. This includes Eircom, ESB and Vodafone. Colman’s portfolio of experience includes working for Sapient Corporation in the US and UK, where he completed major web developments for clients such as Lloyds of London and Electronic Arts.

Clodagh Kelly

Clodagh is a web expert with in-depth skills in Web Analytics. She helps companies use web analytics to monitor visitor behaviour, measure the website performance and create the best possible user experience.

Before joining iQ Content Clodagh worked with the online reservations company Book Now, where she managed content and SEO efforts for a number of successful websites. Since joining iQ Content, Clodagh has worked on analytics, design and training projects for a range of clients including Vodafone, ESB and The National Council for the Blind in Ireland.

Laurence Veale

Laurence is a web usability and accessibility expert with over ten year’s experience and leads iQ Content’s accessibility services team.

Since joining iQ Content in 2005, Laurence has worked on a variety of usability and accessibility projects. Most recently, he has worked with ROS (Revenue Online) and Publicjobs.ie to evaluate and improve the accessibility of their web applications.

Before joining iQ Content, Laurence worked as a developer for two of Ireland’s largest financial institutions: Eagle Star and AIB.

As a Senior Software Engineer with Eagle Star Life he worked on developing their multi-award winning website to give brokers and clients easy access to their policies online.

While at AIB, Laurence worked on their New Banking Platform (NBP). As well as pure development work, he also brought accessibility to the fore of the NBP project.

Laurence has a BA (Hons.) in Physiology from Trinity College Dublin and a Graduate Diploma in Information Technology from Dublin City University. He also has a City and Guilds Certificate in Advanced C Programming from Griffith College Dublin

Paul Fitzsimons

Paul is a longstanding expert in website analysis and review. As overall project manager in iQ Content, he has led a great number of out most successful online developments. This includes usability and design engagements for Vodafone, Dublin City Council and UCD. In support of this, Paul’s experience in analysing and modelling website gives him an excellent basis for advising you on health checking your site.

Brian Donohue

Brian is a web analytics expert with long standing experience in finding practical answers to client problems. Brian has worked on the evaluation of many of our biggest clients websites and been instrumental in creating tailored web analytics solutions. Most recently, Brian led the redevelopment of the Vodafone website for both desktop and mobile devices. In addition, Brian has a wide experience usability techniques and optimising them for effective online marketing.

Shane Diffily

Shane is a recognised expert in website governance and author of ‘The Website Manager's Handbook’ (ISBN 978-1-4116-8529-1). This book contains practical solutions for solving the challenges of site management and has been described by respected commentator Gerry McGovern as "very clear and well written…someone managing - particularly a large website - would find it genuinely useful".

A number of articles by Shane about web governance have been also published by the popular design journal, Alistapart.com. In addition, many other case studies and features about the web, management and technology authored by Shane appear on his personal website and in The Irish Times "Business2000".

Martin Murray

Martin Murray is Chief Executive of online marketing agency, Interactive Return. He is a regular speaker at the most prestigious online marketing events in the world, speaking on a wide range of topics including search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, web analytics and online PR. Martin is a former Director of the Irish Internet Association and is an electronic engineer.

Denise Cox

Denise Cox is Newsweaver’s Email Specialist and has extensive knowledge in email from best practice, marketing know-how to content. In 2002, the Irish Internet Association named her the Overall Net Visionary and in 2007 she received the Net Visionary Award for Best Blogger. Involved in email marketing since 1996, denise provides practical consultancy to Newsweaver’s clients, enabling them to maximise their investment in email.

She also publishes The Business of Email – one of Europe’s leading email newsletters specialising in email marketing, and a blog, email matters!. Denise is also a regular speaker at conferences/seminars, as well as a contributor to publications, both in the UK and Ireland, on the subject of email marketing.

Shenda Loughnane, Managing Director, ICAN

Shenda Loughnane is Managing Director of ICAN, Ireland’s leading interactive advertising agency. Shenda has over 15 year experience in both traditional and Interactive advertising. She began her career as a media planner buyer at Zenithmedia and Euro RSCG in London before heading to Eastern Europe, where she was responsible for setting up Zenithmedia in the Czech and Slovak Republics. She returned to Dublin in 1997 to run the media department of CDP Advertising, before joining ICAN in 1998.
