No knowledge of 'Knowledge Economy'

Almost four out of five Irish businesses are unaware of the term 'Knowledge Economy', according to a survey by the Information Society Commission. Almost 20% of those that were aware of the term answered "don't know" when asked what it meant. This is either very worrying for the future, or an encouraging sign that business people are finally moving away from the continual use of buzzwords. The survey looks at the usage of technology among businesses and consumers.
