UK Government issues usability guidelines

The Office of the e-Envoy's in the UK has published its Quality Framework for UK Government Website Design which aims to ensure government websites 'incorporate users needs in their web design process'. But Louise Ferguson, a council member of the UK Usability Professionals Association, thinks the Government's good intentions be defeated by serious flaws in its execution.
