An interesting piece of research from Stanford University and ConsumerWebWatch on how consumers and experts establish the credibility of your site. The results suggest that design and information architecture are the most important factors.

Web design practices

A useful survey of current practices in large sites. For example, how many place their Home navigation on the top left, and how many implement a breadcrumb trail (and how well)? Since everybody spends more time on sites other than your own, this look at emerging conventions is very useful.
